ReAct – “Resilience in Action”
Our vision is a world with fair and decent work for all.
About Us
ReAct is a Hong Kong-registered charity established in 2021 and the sister organisation of The Remedy Project.
We work towards a world with fair and decent work for all. Our programmes are worker centred and built on collaboration. We partner with civil society groups and migrant worker-led organisations in the ASEAN region to advance this goal.
Our Mission
ReAct’s mission is to improve working conditions and support the legal empowerment of workers to enforce their rights and access remedy.
Our Work
Migrant workers, as rights holders, are at the centre of the ecosystem of remedy for labour and human rights violations. Yet too often, they face systemic, legal, and practical barriers that prevent access to effective remedy. At ReAct, we work to strengthen accountability and improve access to remedy for migrant workers.
We equip migrant workers, grassroots advocates, and women peer leaders with the knowledge and tools to understand their rights and avenues to access remedy, advocate for fair treatment, and support their peers.
Legal Empowerment
Access to Remedy
We work with legal advocates, civil society groups, and worker-led organisations to push for real accountability and pursue effective worker-driven remedy.
We capture insights from workers about the challenges they face and their perspectives on solutions – ensuring that migrant workers are part of the global dialogue on ESG, and business and human rights.
